Championship Rules
1. Each player will start with 1,000 units of chips. and for each of the four pieces of clothing he gets another 1.000 units of chips
2. Table assignment will be determined by random draw and will be final.
.3. Tables will start with 10 players and as players are knocked out they will revert to tables of 9 etc…
4. There will be a random redraw for seats when it gets down to two tables. There will also be a redraw when it gets down to the final table.
5. Players must keep all their chips visible at all times.
6. English must be spoken at all times during a hand.
7. Players must protect their cards at all times. If a dealer takes in a hand by mistake, the hand is dead and there is no redress.
8. Players are not allowed to show their cards to others during a hand. If a player reveals their hand it will be declared dead.
9. Players not involved in a hand may not discuss a pot in progress. If they do they may get a PENALTY at the discretion of the tournament director.
10.Card decks are assigned to each table at the beginning of the tournament. Players may not ask for a change of deck. A new hand commences when the dealer does the first riffle.
11. A player must be SITTING AT THE TABLE when the cards are dealt to take part in a hand.
12. Mobile phones are not allowed in the tournament area nor are any other recording devices including cameras unless officially sanctioned by the Tournament Directors.
13. Players must be respectful towards others at all time. Insults and disrespect will not be tolerated. Players may be subject to 20 mins away from the table at the discretion of the tournament director.
14.The minimum bet is the amount of the BIG BLIND.
15. The minimum raise IS DOUBLE THE PREVIOUS BET.
16. If a player is taking too much time to make a decision, another player involved in the pot may ask for the clock. If this happens, the player has 60 seconds to make a decision and after the 60 seconds the hand will be dead.
17. The Tournament Director’s decision will be final on what clothing complies upon registration.
18. The management reserves the right to show highlights of the event on internet, television or prints.
19. By participating in this event players consent to the filming and use of their performance/interview, and any part of it, in any and all media throughout the world.
20. The management reserves the right to add or amend any tournament rules, as they feel appropriate.
21. In the event of any disputes, the Tournament Director’s decision is final. The Management reserves the right to cancel or alter any event at its sole discretion in the best interest of the tournament or its players.
